Started in the Spring of ‘09, but then had some nerve damage. Had to wait a year until I had feeling in my fingertips again before I could finish it.

Seeking to answer the age-old question: just how many doilies does one guy need?

Blame September 11, 2001.

After the terrorist attack, I could not take knitting needles on the plane. Seeking another hobby to pass the time, I picked up a book on tattng.

I still do most of my tatting when I travel, so my output is largely based on my travel schedule. Most folks have no clue what it is, but every once in a while, I get a good reaction.

On a memorable trip, the flight attended stopped short and exclaimed, "oh my gosh! A man-tatter!"

And so I am.
